    The YPUK 2016

    The Young Professionals UK (YPUK)

I would like to introduce you to THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS UK initiative. This initiative has been created to offer intense, personal and professional training and networking opportunities to talented youngsters.
For several years Alan Bradshaw was the Children’s Dance Captain on Billy Elliot, London and has extensive teaching experience having taught at many schools including the Sylvia Young Theatre School, Arts Educational Schools London and CPA Studios.
His experience in working with children has taught him to never underestimate a child’s ability and so their first programme has been designed to create a bespoke performance which nurtures, focuses on, develops and showcases two out of the three main Performing Arts disciplines, being acting, singing and dancing.
Workshops and short courses will be designed to build upon existing professional experience, offer essential versatility to young performers who have been rigorously drilled for show specific material, facilitate peer learning with fellow-professionals and expose young talent which is yet to be discovered to casting directors and industry professionals.
There are many wonderful short courses on offer, but the difference with their first short-course is that they tailor the material to each successful individual and showcase this to a representative from Jessica Ronane Casting (Casting projects include Film, TV and Theatre : Billy Elliot The Musical; Matilda The Musical; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; Made in Dagenham; Bugsy Malone – Hammersmith Lyric; I Can’t Sing the X-Factor Musical) whilst offering invaluable experience and insight into the true industry.

DO YOU WANT TO GET AHEAD OF THE GAME? PUT YOURSELF IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME AND SIGN UP NOW!

  • Give me a break!

Do you remember when someone gave you the break you really needed? At CLF we aim to help deserving young talent get the break they need to realise their potential in the performing arts. We have chosen 5 of our scholars to take part in a fundraising campaign called ‘Give me a break!’ on Tuesday December 15th. They will be recording David Gray’s song ‘This Year’s Love’ in ChartHouse Studios, London. They will also have a professional photoshoot to add to their portfolio. You can really help make a difference for this charity by donating now, https://www.charitycheckout.co.uk/1143398/Page4 or you can Text ‘Donate CLF 5′ to 88802
